Creature of the Night

Hurray for randomness!

I was sitting down enjoying Adobe when the idea struck me, that I wanted to learn to cel-shade better, draw faster and try out a different style. I'm pretty happy with the results of the experiment, which you all see before you!

One might sort of say that this is vampire art related to *AlaskanExile's Vampire Hunter D fanfic. It's sort of "concept art" as I'm intending to use some parts of this design for the antagonist. Obvious inspiration is Folken from Escaflowne, and sort of the style of Vampire Hunter D, and the fantastic art of *virus-AC74 whom you all should bow down and worship!!!

I sort of erased the sketch that I based it on, but I liked the lines it produced, the contrast, and the chaos so I added them again... What do you think?

I plan to do some vampire related art in the upcoming weeks - this is due to the fanfic and a work that I promised I would have done ages ago!
